How does it work?

1.     Search by subject for an expert or influencer.
2.     Look up their availability and book a time.
3.     Message them in the platform to discuss your needs.
4.     Connect at the time of the booking using the video link in their listing. 
5.     Protected payment is released by you after the call.
6.     If you require a receipt, message our Customer Service Team.


 


Frequently asked questions

Is my payment protected?

Yes. Your payment is held in Stripe, one of the world’s largest payment processing platforms, until after the video call when you will be asked to authorise it’s release.

What if I am not happy with the quality of the advice I receive?

You should raise this with your advisor at the earliest opportunity in the video call. If you can't agree a resolution, contact the Chattaboxx Customer Support team and we will aim to resolve and (where appropriate) refund payment.

How does the video call work?

Use the link in the advisors listing to join a secure private video call from a camera enabled device at the scheduled time. No downloads are required.

Are advisors employed by Chattaboxx?

No, they are individuals, screened by Chattaboxx offering their service through the platform.

What does it cost to access advice on Chattaboxx?

You pay a fixed price for a video call of up to 60 minutes. Advisors set their own rates. If a call lasts less than 60 minutes you will still be charged for a full hour.

What if I need to reschedule?

You can reschedule your call by direct messaging your advisor in Chattaboxx with more that 24 hours-notice. Refunds cannot be made for 'no shows' or calls cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time. Advisors are asked to wait in the video call for 10 minutes before abandoning the call.

Chattaboxx is currently designed for and available to individuals aged 18+ and organisations residing in Australia. Time zones used in the platform are Australian and reflect this. By using the Chattaboxx platform you are confirming your eligibility to use the service.

Receipts for services provided.

A record of purchases made on Chattaboxx is provided in your Account Profile. If you require a receipt for services provided, please message the Chattaboxx Customer Service Team at Contact Us . Chattaboxx is owned and operated by Chattaboxx Pty Ltd who are not currently required to be registered for GST. Receipts for services purchased through the Chattaboxx platform reflect this.

Is the advice I receive legally binding?

Chattaboxx is not designed to replace professional advice regarding (for example) legal or financial matters. Any advice given is of a general nature and the risk of following that advice is borne by the customer.
